TPI Injection
« on: September 30, 2006, 09:58:00 PM »
I'm going to check out a TPI from a 5.7 Litre T/A. It appears that the 2 fuel line fittings have been cut off. Can these be fixed?

Yes you can fix the fuel lines however I hope you're getting an ECM, harness and all of the sensors with it too.

Here's what's included:

I know I will need a Knock sensor.....do you see anything else that may be missing?

It also comes with a steering colunm and key for the VATS security.

Thanks,Pugsy

Is that the WHOLE wiring harness.  I would get the ALDL section if it isn't there.  Plus the throttle cables if availible.  The air cleaner and piping.  Especially if it is MAF.

Is everything labeled?

I got a lot more wiring than you see there.I got the whole fusebox and a bunch more. Some have been cut.

No throttle cable.

Its a speed density system.

Everything is not labelled, but the guy threw in a Haynes manuel for the Trans Am

I was hoping you were going to say that there is more.

Should be able to find a cable though.

Don't need the duct if it is MAP...

Is that the part that you connect the scan tool up to?

Thanks, Pugsy
