I have an 89 chevy K1500 here at my house that has no motor or trans in it.  I am going to be installing a carbed 350 or 305, not sure which yet.  I do not have a 700r4 like what it had in it.  I do, however, have access to a th350 that was converted to be used with an np208 transfer case and the 208 is there also.  Was wondering if I could bolt the 241 case to the th350 in place of the old np208 and be okay?

Thanks.
Kevin.

   I have replaced a 208 with a 241 on a 700R4 and it was a direct fit (both t-cases were 27 spline).
Did the conversion kit consist of changing the output shaft of the trans and using an aluminum spacer between the trans and the transfer case adapter? If this is the kit I'm thinking of it's set up for a 27 spline 208 and a 27 spline 241 will bolt right on. Since you truck has no motor/trans just make sure you have the correct 27 spline 241 and not a 32 spline one.
You can look on this site http: //www.high-impact.net/transmission_and_gear/Tcase_NP241.htm
I'm sure Blazin or Vile can help you with more info.
