Found these two brackets in my glove box. Any ideas what they are for? One is slightly bend in the middle. One side is a nut on it other side a hole only. They came with my truck but I don’t know where to mount them.

Can't say, But:
Look at your front, or, rear end for any sign of collision, or damage, and if you see any, look for brackets like those.
The clue is that one of them is really bent, and looking at the gauge, it took a pretty good hit to bend it.
