This pickup is super sharp!  I have a deep burning desire to build one of these myself, ever since I saw the first one several years ago.  Ok, gotta wipe the saliva off the keyboard.

No....crew cabs for our trucks only came in 1-ton or C30/K30, however at the tail end in 1990/1991 the crew cabs were still square bodys and were V3500/R3500.

Actually you could get a C20 in a crew cab, I had a 1982 so I know...

i know they came in c20 also cause my uncle has an 85 c20 crew cab in his grove. would a frame out of a c10 suburban work to put a crew cab and short box on it with out much modifications???

From what I know, NO, because the burbs mount differently on the frame then the trucks do. I am sure you could modify a bunch of frame and body, but probally not worth it.

A suburban is shorter than a Long bed truck at 129.5" wheelbase vs 131.5 of a Long bed.  The bed would have to be chopped down considerably to even fit and then it would be extremely short.  The Short Bed Crew Cabs everyone is making have 150.5" wheelbase..  The bed mounts would also have to be fabricated...
