Bout to go my 2nd road trip in the old truck.   I'm already in Auburn Al, waitin for my buddy to get off work.  Next we're going to Gulf Shores (orange beach) for a couple of days,, and then through panama city, and then back through where we've already been...   Truck did great last time, I love my suburban seats!

Here's an old school artistic shot.  It must be because it's a large framed picture in my granddad's man cave.   It was taken on a trip to Wyoming in 1980.  My truck's at the top right with the big camper shell on the back.   I just took this pic, because I never noticed the truck was in it before....

Just curious, did the lady ever say she was sorry, or did she just have an attitude?

She was scared...lol   I didnt get nasty but she told the cop she was worried because I was so big...   funny really...  no she didnt say she was sorry though, I just had to keep quiet cuz if I let go, there would have been no shutting me up.

I added some more cup holders to my console.   I bought the little cup holder your supposed to wedge between the seat and console of a car.  I trimmed the top rear edge to fit the console properly, it came straight.

I'm loving it, gotta have my cubby holes.   It's bolted on with 4 small bolts so its strong and tight with huge fountain drinks in it.  Doesn't look great from the bottom but you never see anything except the top anyway unless you lay on the floor.  Total cost is about $5.  It also keeps stuff set in the floor in the middle from going under the console which is handy since i hate hunting under stuff.

I really love your truck, but ain't it time do get them seats redone? LOL.  Your truck and your handy work are inspirational.  Thanks for the motivation and hopes for winning the lottery!

Yeah the seats are way overdue..  the armrests material is shot and the drivers seats well worn, but i'm able to put it off because the passenger seat looks good and i cant see the drivers seat while im sitting on it... ;D

Another Impulse buy today that I'm quite happy with...

Bought a Thrush Welded 2.5" chambered muffler.  PN 17656  Got tired of the old quiet dynomax, it sounded good but too quiet.  I'm liking this one a lot though  ;D
