chris you should look into selling the flat hoods because i will be needing one but i do like the cowl hoods on a 2wd i just think it looks better like viles 74
LOL He wants to Dusty, but as Chris stated in response to my last post, his supplier no longer offers them.....  I'm sure if he can find a repitable supplier for them, he will have them listed....   The Biggest thing is finding a reliable one, not always one of the easiest things to do(Then again even if he did find one, it usually doesn't pay to go through them, when you don't have more than one item order or enough orders to justify it).....

It occoured to me, but i move all over when I sleep, so i'd have beaten the whole inside up  ;D  I sat out in a chair and had a six pack and checked it out, planned this, planned that.

I'll be getting pics first opportunity I get.  I'm chomping at the bit to get it outside so i can work on it.  The weather is crappy here and there's not much working room around it in the garage I park it in, so I have to wait till tomorrow.  I did get the drip rails and fender emblems back on it though, and i tackled the big job of assembling the glovebox ::)  dang RAIN! >:(     One thing I think is really cool that it does now is that when you open the hood about a foot, it'll open the rest of the way by itself.  I never knew they would do that.  Guess those GM Hinges paid off, gotta keep them good and lubed... ;D

Did you add the Support Braces to the hinge mounting points???  If not, I would still add them if you can....  But yes keep the hinges well lubed(I would use a good white Lithium or a Waterproof Multipurpose Lube that will last longer than traditional), and Be sure to only close that Bad Boy from the Center(Preferably with Both hands and even pressure)....

Does Look Great Kenny, Got to say though, ya got a Garage, So Get to work already ;D Even with limited work, you can still work inside the Cab and Such(Windows,Mechs, And Etc).... I'm 6'4" 285, and it still looks like I would would have plenty of room to work! :P

It's off of an '08 silverado.  But i don't know how many years they've been using it or if it's a newer color.  I went and looked at new cars and trucks to find the color I wanted and then got one of the color sample brochures from the salesman.
