A 383 is made from a 350 block, whether it be a 2 bolt or 4 bolt main--no matter. Some would say a 2 bolt is just as good as a 4 bolt unless you're racing or something. It'll be just fine.
Get yourself a 400 ci crank, balancer, and flywheel or flexplate. Add all the ingredients and bake at 383 degrees for a hundred thousand miles.
You can get the 383 stroker kits w/ pre-grinided connecting rods (PAW or Summit or jegs), just bore that block 30 over and put that joker together.
You'll have loads of torque. You may need to replace your rear tire rubber quite frequently though.
