1 ton front suspension

I was wondering if anyone knew if the 1 ton front suspensions are the same in the duallies and the single rear wheel versions. Is the width difference in the suspension itself or the brakes? What about 3/4 ton and 1 tons?

I can tell you I converted a 1972 C-30 from single wheel to dually, and up front was to just change out the rotors. Of course the whole rear end needed changed but no biggie.

Front suspension is the same, rear axles are different width.

Alright that means I can use a crew cab dually drop spindle on a single rear wheel crew cab truck. 73-91.

It really wouldn't be a crew cab spindle, it is just a 1T spindle.

Yeah I understand that... I just didn't know if the width difference was in the suspension or the rotor. Are 3/4 and 1 ton spindles different? I've try to research all of this but could never really find an answer. Something about like this is my plan... but no body drop and still 8 lug. I want something to tow my lowrider with.

I believe the spindles are different, but I honestly can say that with 100% accuracy. I generally deal only with 1/2T. If someone has a hollander swap manual they could tell what is compatible.
