Small left to clear 26" wheels
« on: July 11, 2017, 07:45:29 PM »
Was wondering if you guys could give me a hand. I have an 81 c10 and it doesn't sit level. The truck is lower in the front. Please tell me what needs to be done to level it back out. I'm thinking it needs about 2-3" .

Thanks in Advance

It's a pick up. The back is higher so it levels out when you put a load in the box. You either need to lower the rear, lift the front, or a little of both to get your desired stance.

Springs have never been replaced that I'm aware of. I'll take a look at that

If the truck is stock the front should be at least 2-3" lower than the rear.

If it is factory height ( you can check my measuring from center of rim/spindle to bottom of wheel fender 19.5 inches is factory front and back) a drop shackle will level you out.
