Loose/wobbly wiper/signal switch

The switch that sets turn signals works but it is very wobbly and loose and the "click" is mushy and not crisp.
Is this normal or what do I need to replace to fix it?

It could be the switch. It also could be a loose screw. The only way to know is to remove the steering wheel, dust cover and lock plate.

It's difficult to know just how much you don't know until you know it.
In other words... if people learn by making mistakes, by now I should know just about everything!!!
