They're most likely made in China and will probably be ok. Most of those parts are by no means show worthy and they will probably discolor on you. Have you considered just having your headers ceramicoated?

I would be worried about fit.  Seems to be a universal type for years and applications.  I thought C series was different than the K series.  Just started shopping for a set for my 86 C-10 SBC with stick, any suggestions???

Some headers will work on 2 or 4wd but other ones may hit the front shackle if I recall correctly. I've used these headers and had teriffic luck with them!

I am not a fan of headers is general but I have no choice in this case.  I guess I should bite the bullet and go for the coated ones to keep the heat down.  My main concern is the clearance for the clutch slave cylinder.

Headers are great if you have a good quality set. Cheap headers suck and even worse cheap header gaskets. A good quality set and high quality gaskets you will totally appreciate. Plus they look great.

Like this or these exact one for your blazer??  Mine is a 86 and is not listed.  Those would be great if they would fit.  I like the price.

They make the shorty's like that with the tapered collector which is nice for a collector gasket free connection to your pipe which I prefer

They fit our trucks you may just have to make a small notch where the O2 bung is.

Doesn't list it for a 1986 though.  I do like the look

Like I said they will fit. I've used them several times. The only thing I've ever had to do was make a small little relief where the O2 bung is.

here's a set I put on a truck a few months ago:

Is there a Y-pipe setup for those Vile?

Vile, you sold me, just put a bid on a set.  I can always use them on my 95 as the right side manifold is nearing its end of life anyway.

You could use the stock Y-pipe for them -that's how I had them on my 88 TBI Blazer. The nice thing about headers like that is a flared connection is all you need and a 3 hole flange. I have them on my 85 K20 also and they've been good. If you aren't using the O2 you'll need to plug it and maybe grind a little where it gets close to the frame.

That is my problem.  I don't have the stock y-pipe, I need one...

I just threw out a y-pipe last week... why not run duals?

I won the auction so a set should be showing up in the next week or 2.

Did you have to do any mody to make them fit your truck?

Not yet, I have only test fit them once and I didn't see any issues.
I bought them for my 84 blazer that I'm building, but I'm thinking about putting them on my 89.

Running a turbo on the end of it...

honstley just send your hookers out to be coated or do it your self and save yourself the trouble your GOING to have with the obx products. i own a 78c10 as well as a 96 honda street car. and ive seen nothing but problems with OBX products.

anyays but its your choice if you just have to repaint or coat compared to buy these have cracking problems, fitment problems, and then have to put your hookers back on.

Sorry to bring up an older post, but Vile I was thinking up buying the headers you showed on your truck. I was just wondering other than the small relief, did you seal the O2 bung with a small bolt and was the clearance issue much?

I just plugged it with an 18mm recessed plug (looks like a bigger diff check plug). I would say the clearance was no more than 1/8"-1/4" to fit.

The O2 bung has a block off bolt that comes with it.  I bought a set.  Haven't put the engine in the truck yet.

Right on sounds good those headers look pretty nice and I really like the shorty style with the gasketless connection. How's your ceramic coating holding up Vile? What brand are they and where did you get them?

The ones I put on that truck held up fine for over a year now. I have a stainless set on my 85K20 -no coating and I put a set on my 88V10 Blazer and the coating lasted great til the day I sold it anyway. I bought mine on Ebay from some hong kong type dealer.
