Factory rear view mirror mounting location
« on: December 18, 2009, 11:21:30 AM »
I recently replaced the windshield in my '83 Silverado and forgot to measure the old windshield for the location of the metal rear view mirror mount before trashing it.  I know that it is centered on the embedded antenna wires but don't know how far down it should go.  Does anyone know the distance from the top of the windshield at the rubber gasket down to the top of the mirror mount?

I'd go measure it for you but I'm too sick to go outside. If noone gets back to you by tomorrow I'll measure it for you.
