I made a four hour round trip the other day with a buddy to trade his beater Dodge neon for a square body! He's getting a crew cab '91 and this is a parts truck for it. Truck did great!

Square body 3/4 and 1 tons always get sexier when when you drag a trailer with them, especially when they have another truck on the trailer or something cool.

We were definitely getting some head turns! But it usually turns heads anyway :)

My insurance company called me to ask questions about the truck like two weeks ago (is the interior original? Is the paint original? Engine stock or modified? Etc...) and try to determine its value.... My insurance went up a few bucks a month because they apparently value it at $14,500.... No idea where they get these numbers

Hard to argue with that. My girlfriend's brother got his 79 GMC High Sierra K25 t-boned over a year and half ago, insurance was going to total it at first but to help truck was in such good shape they didn't cuz he fought with them. Ended up paying about 11K to him and he just brought it home from the body shop yesterday.

One thing I forgot to post is the engine plates I received from Tejas SteelWorks. It's a small shop in Texas that makes these mounts and a few other Square body LS swap items. These mounts will move the engine up and forward enough for me to retain the 5.3's A/C condenser which Dirty Dingo mounts dont allow you to do

Started working on the harness for the 5.3 last night, taking off excess wires and plugs that aren't needed. I'll be working on this for a while until I get all the little parts and fuses and relays I need to finish it completely but then I'll be ordering new wheels, the cam, lifters, valve springs, etc. And the 5.3 will start to get reassembled

Well I ordered new wheels for my truck, white 15x12 Bart Super Trucker's. Problem is, Summit neglected to tell me that they were on back order and wouldn't be shipped until November. So, I just had them upgrade it to 15x14's which are black unfortunately but I am going to paint them another color anyway. Still undecided on the color though. I am guessing I'm going to have to get the 8" Skyjacker springs sooner than planned if these don't fit well (which they almost guaranteed won't haha)

This is my current clearance with 6" springs and 16x8's with 315/75/16's, so we'll see how bad it is once I get some tires for the 15x14's...

Why not just get the wheels you want? There are lots of different sources to get them.

Wheels came yesterday, they're massive!!

I also got a camera finally!!! I'm super excited, I'll finally be able to take some real nice looking photos of the truck and the build progress!
