Waterneck housing stripped
« on: June 04, 2018, 07:51:57 PM »
Aluminum intake manifold, radiator flush, new thermostat and gasket.
Put back together stripped the bolts. Story is abit longer but thats where Im at.
Bought the heliCoil to fix it.
Seems drilling of the holes is most crucial. Making them straight.
Anytips to ensure a straight drilling? Ive watched the youtube vids, seems straight forward but these guys seem to have experience doing this. This is my first attempt at this.
Tips?

Are you using the correct length bolts? Did you try chasing the threads and installing a new bolt?
