Got a 454 in one of my 1983 trucks. As far as I know it is stock internals. It came with an Edebrock Performer Intake and a 600cfm Edelbrock on it. I'm rebuilding the carb and the primaries and secondaries seem way undersized for this engine (.098). I really don't feel like experimenting with various tuning, but would rather just copy what someone else has done that worked well. A stock 1411 comes with .110 primaries and .107 secondaries with #1459 rods. I'm looking for input from people who have found a nice tune for their 454 with Edelbrock 600 cfm carb.
