curiosity always kills the cat
« on: March 16, 2006, 12:25:00 PM »
Question,
i was wondering why chevrolet/gmc`s blazers and suburbans after 87 continued the 81 and up style till 91 while the chevy trucks were changed in 88 And then the blazers and suburbans finally caught up to the 88 style in 92?Was there any articles about this here on why it happened?

thanks
pat

GM had a contract with the military I believe, for the Blazers and Burbs for fleet use.

Chris, can you verify this?

I had heard something similar to that as well.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

GM signed a contract with the military and basically committed to sticking with the same bodystyle for those years.

I ,for one, am glad they stayed the same...a classic look, and I have one of the last of the box-style.

that was a good question that I didn't know of and I have one.
