Will 91 Blazer Interior fit 82 GMC Pickup?
« on: March 22, 2006, 03:31:00 PM »
I know someone that is parting a 91 Blazer and I am trying to make sure the parts are interchangable.

82 bench seats for 91 blazer bucket seats and center console

82 dash for 91 blazer dash

82 headliner for 91 blazer dash

thanks in advance!

The blazer seats won't work in the pickup or vise versa.  Blazers have flat floors where pickups have the gas tank hump in the floor.

I wrote "82 headliner for 91 blazer dash"  it should have stated 82 headliner for 91 blazer headliner.

Roundedline, someone else told me the seats would fit... however what you said makes sense!  Anywhere on the net that has a rundown on what pieces will fit what years?

Seats won't interchange.
Dash will interchange.
Headliner won't interchange.
As far as I know there is no list for intechange parts. Pretty basic though, if it looks the same it will interchange for example the dash pad, gauge face trim, doors forward on the body. Or if it looks diferent it will not seats, headliner, etc.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

On a Blazer, the only thing that will interchange interior wise is the Dash area, and the door panels.

On a Suburban, Dash area, door panels, seats, and console.

Whomever told you the seats would work were incorrect.  The seat on the passenger side for pre 87 Blazers only tip forward......  IF you had some brackets from a Burb or Pickup the actual seat would work, otherwise you have to make some mounts.

So are you saying that a seat from a burb will work in an 85 Chevy truck?  I thought in the burbs the gas tank was in the rear, causing there to be no floor humps.  Could be wrong.  Anyone know?  Thanks

Yes a seat from a burb will work with some bending in a pickup.  The burb has simular humps in the floor just like the pickup.

I have a cracked windshield and need to get one from the junkyard.  Are they all the same?
