Hello I'm new to this forum and I'm starting my ls swap on my R10 with a 5.3 and 4L60E, I just bought Schoenfeld LS engine swap header kit and Hooker Headers Transmission mount, I have duel gas tanks on the truck and had a 305 tbi but I kind like the duel gas tanks but I've heard its easier to buy a K10 gas tank and mount it be hide the rear axel where the spare tire would be and run a 2000's model truck sending unit, but I don't know about the fuel system like what all would I need for the swap? and best way.

For dual tanks you simply need the AC Delco EP381 fuel pumps. They fit where your stock fuel pumps go, but you do have to grind a little off of the bottom pump support on your fuel level sensors. The shape of the bottom of the pump is slightly different than the older pump. Other than that, it fits in just like stock!
Next you may need to replace your stock switching valve with a new one. I hear that the original Pollak valve was not designed to handle the increased pressure, but the replacement valve for your truck is good to 65 psi working pressure. The one in my truck had a readable sticker still on it that said 65 psi. It may have been replaced by the previous owner.
Finally, you need to replace all of the short sections of rubber fuel line with FI rated hoses and FI rated clamps. On my '91 I have a few short sections of rubber hose that were factory crimped to hard lines. You can carefully grind the metal ferrule off...being careful not to damage the hardline underneath and separate the two. Then you can use whatever FI rated clamps on those hardlines to join the new FI rated hose to them.

Alright for the pumps just need a little grinding on the bottom, and fuel lines any fuel filters i should put on? And change my fuel lines

It is the bottom bracket of the fuel sender that needs some metal removal...not the fuel pump. For my 2004 LQ4 it is a returnless system, so there is only one line that goes to the engine. For this you can use the Corvette filter regulator. It is P/N: AC Delco 19239926.
The stock fuel lines are okay for size...feed 3/8", return 5/16", vapor 1/4"

Ah ok i see what you mean now, should i use 2 fuel filters or a single one.

The Corvette filter regulator is all that you need for a returnless system. If you have an LS with a return system...then you have the regulator on the fuel rail and all you need is a fuel filter. I think you could use the stock filter for that, but I am not sure if it is rated for the higher pressure. It likely is, but I cannot confirm that.

Here is a picture of the modification that I made to the bottom of the fuel level sender that supports the pump. the intake of the pump fits through this hole and is isolated from the metal by a rubber insulator. It isn't a lot to grind off, but the EP381 fuel pump is not teardrop shaped.

The two dot marks are for drilling a couple of holes. The EP381 isolator has a couple rubber teats that I suppose are for retaining the isolator, but I just snipped off the rubber teats because grinding on the metal support and then drilling the holes would make the metal support weaker and easy to bend. The isolator fits around the end of the pump and then you push on the filter sock, so it isn't going anywhere!

I would probably do a filter for each tank and maybe a pressure gauge somewhere so you can tell when they filters are almost clogged
Once you start running EFI pumps it will stir up a lot of trash in the tanks , unless you're using new tanks , you will be changing the filters fairly often

I think I've decided to run a fuel cell behide the rear axel, because my duel gas tanks don't look the best shape and i think it would be easyer to do it that way
