Title: Turn signal lights only one side.
Post by: dylantbeach on October 01, 2018, 09:14:52 AM
Fixing up an '85 K10 with 305 TH700R4. All new lights up front and the passenger side park light and passenger side marker work with the light switch on but do not flash when using the turn signal switch to the right or the hazard knob. There is also no audible clicking. The driver side parking light and side marker turn on and flash as they should. Any ideas? I did not think the ground would be an issue since the lights come on. I have replaced the relay. Would this be an issue with the contactor in the switch in the column? Does the hazard knob engage the same contactor as the turn signal?

I have had a similar issue with the column switch but mine was in the rear.  Replaced the switch and problem was solved.  Discovered problem after I put an unknown steering column.  I went to a tilt column.  Not saying that is your problem but it was mine.

Just had exactly same problem. Had replaced parking light sockets. Just fixed yesterday.
Problem was the bulbs were not making good contact with tabs in socket bottom. I bent
tabs upward a little, now they make good contact and work perfect.
