Title: AC line help
Post by: 76Texan on March 17, 2017, 05:06:39 PM
Finally found a good kick panel for the passenger side, it had enough of the orange line left that I was missing to complete that orange line setup

However I am still missing 1 tube. What was remaining (What was left when I bought the truck) inside the inner AC unit after taking it apart was a small amount of orange tube that went through a grommet/type washer and connected to the inside as seen in photo 2. Photo 1, I think shows what I am missing which is the dark blue line marked ‘H’. Other than connecting to the inside there, where does it connect to once outside? I have looked at a load of diagrams and am just missing this one.

Any help would be appreciated
THX!

See the diagrams and descriptions in the 1976 Service Manual (http://www.73-87chevytrucks.com/techinfo/7387CKMans//Service/ST_330_76_1976_Chevrolet_Light_Truck_Service_Overhaul_Supplement.pdf#page=33).
