Removing glue @#%$ other residue

What's the best way to remove the glue/residue left behind from the old side trim?  I'm prepping the body for paint, unfortunately sand paper gets all "gummed" up, and accetone just smears it around.

there are "eraser wheels" that attach to die grinders, take one of them to it and it'll be smooth like a babys butt

i've used a heat gun and a putty knife to remove that stuff before.or you can try some Goo Gone   you can find it just about any place like Walmart,Kmart,home Depot ect...

I use a single edge razor on a foldable holder. take all the heavy stuff, then I use laquer thinner. Rub it till it smears good then wipe off with a dry rag. it takes some elbow grease but works.

denatured alcohol always worked for me. if you have a cabinet shop anywhere around you ask them for about a quart of Lacthol. thats what just about every shop uses for adhesive removal, it won't burn your hands like lacquer thinner will either.

i used a a heat gun and a putty knife 2. it worked really slcik and got it all nice. just be sure too make sure all of it gets reall hot then it will just scrape right off.
