No weld hole repair
« on: February 23, 2017, 10:02:56 AM »
I am removing stainless steel stone guards from in front of rear wheels on my 87 fleet side.
There are only ( 2 ). 1/8" holes on each side.  What is best is way to eliminate these holes
Without welding holes shut. Thanks.
Jerry

you could use a plastic/rubber plug. like an interior part(door panel or something) you could also put a bolt and nut through it if you can get behind it. neither of those look pretty though lol

thats a small hole ive seen bigger holes filled with body filler then sanded and painted. its not the best way but its simple and easy
