Factory Tach/fuel combo cluster
« on: June 17, 2017, 08:51:27 AM »
after waiting almost a year I've been told that i can start pulling parts from the 89 C7000 in the pound and i started with the piece I've been obsessed with since it showed up late last summer, the gauge cluster.
Any write ups on the factory tachs?

It's a Canadian truck, pressure is in kpa, temp in celsius and speedo is in km. I think that makes it even cooler! I've always always liked these, and the vacuum gauge is cool too.

ya lots of Canadian trucks in Canada lol, it's not a vacuum gauge though its a dual tank (primary and secondary) air pressure gauge from the air brake system. The speedo even has the provision for the VSS adapter/sensor but i wanted the cluster for the Tach and the air pressure gauge, although i would have preferred a US imperial cluster to the metric as my truck is from the US and therefore the gauges won't match what i already have

Are there any write ups on the factory tachs?

Oh I didn't look that close, I assumed it was a vacuum gauge as I've seen those before. Air pressure gauge is cool too tho!
