just fitted new door handles and wing mirrors, outside is about complete. when I bought the stainless steel grill they don't do a grill emblem. so I have made my own, out of some polished stainless. turned out sweet.

I ordered my carpet  two months ago and it arrived but was the wrong colour BLUE  :(, I ordered BLACK. so still waiting.
so I have finished all the sound deadening and some rewiring , and have fitted heated seats £40 when I get the bench seat cover. the switch just fits in the tank change over switch location (tank switch not in use) has 5 heat settings.  I made some door panel bottoms, same as new headliner material. I stitched the chevy emblem and the c10 logo on it first.

there was no air con when I got the truck, some parts had been removed. (compressor/pipe work) so I have totally deleted the air con,(not needed over here) and this is the last bracket that needs to go. as its in the way. so I made my own bracket support so it still supports  the power steering pump. and cut the rest off. looks a lot better. also made bulkhead box so I still have heat and fan/blower still works.

still no carpet  >:(  so finished the red silicone radiator hoses, had to leave the bottom hose as original due to the shape  (is new anyway) gives it a new fresh look.

thanks,
got some new front park lamps. had to cut off the top two fixing tabs to fit my grill.
dismantled my bench seat, after removing the old cover and foam the some of the rear frame support bars have been cut out ?  so I have welded some more bars back in and painted the frame. I have 4 Brocken springs on the base frame, the foam also needs repairing on the drivers back and drivers seat.

foam back repair first pic shows its already been repaired. so I have cut out the old and fitted some new high density foam. and then shaped it to the seat. and then covered it with polyester wadding on the frame. the base foam needs to be done the same

finally got the carpet in black, fits perfect with minimal  trimming to rear of cab.
fitted new hei 65,000 volt coil/distributor cap/rotor and control module. street thunder ignition leads. (as others were shot) I've always wanted to lift the truck suspension rather than body lift, but limited to height with it only been  2wd. it will have 2 inch rear blocks steel not cast as I have had in the past cast blocks crack. the front with 1 inch thick coil spring spacer, should lift it 2-1/2 to 3 inch.
made rear behind seat  trim panel needs another coat of paint, and will put chevy emblem on it.

seat cover base fitted, hog rings needed only on the ends of cover. front and rear has plastic fixings, makes fitting easier.
back of seat heated elements fitted, then cover fitted hog rings along bottom. turned out better than I expected. base mounts to fit then can go in truck.
