Had a good day at the Pick-and-Pull.
« on: September 08, 2020, 03:35:39 AM »

Had a good day at my local pick and pull junkyard, the big items being the grill and the OEM clock. Everything else was just gravy! But at $45 for everything pictured I think I did pretty good.

Had to do a quick test fit to see how it'll look. I think it'll look good!

Looks good.
It's been a while since I've seen a 73-87 in the junkyards around me.

Unless you're buddies with someone, there's no pick n pulls around here. Liability and so on

Hey I'm in Washington as well (saw your plate). I think there used to be a truck focused junkyard around Kent somewhere. Not sure if it's still around. Budget Truck or something like that? I'd love to go there and check it out, but I wasn't sure if they're letting people in with Covid and all that.

I'm not in Washington actually. The truck is from there, but it is now over here on the east coast in VA! Getting the darn thing shipped cost way more than I wanted it too but I'm still happy with it. I've got two pick-a-part locations near me and a bunch of salvage yards. I'm still looking for a Suburban with captain chairs and center console I can get the interior out of, holding out hope for one with decent carpet too.
