Older cabs fitting

Sup guys. Was wondering what cabs years will fit on a 1980 frame..

     73 - 80 for sure, the frames are the same up to 87, I do not know if 81 - 87 cabs will work though, some one will chime in.
#1: The easiest and most obvious solution to any problem is 99% of the time correct.
#2: There is no such thing as impossible, it just takes longer.

73-87 cabs will fit, up to 91 1 tons cabs will fit all 73-to 87 frames. You need to use the cab mounts that match the years of the frame though. 73-80, and 81-87/91

Umm.ok. I bough a c10 81 for parts me n my bro needed. And I was wondering if I could use that frame with a 1970 c10 cab..

     I do not believe so, I believe the 70 cab mounts are different, though I guess with modifications it will work.  It just wont bolt right on.

Cab mounts from 1960 to 1972 are the same spacing, core support mounts are different. But none of those cabs are a direct swap onto a 73 or newer frame.
