Tachometer kit
« on: September 01, 2019, 11:27:18 PM »
has tachometer conversion kits and there are 4 different part numbers.  Anyone know if there are any differences other than the fonts/appearance of the gauges?  They seem to be out of stock for the 1981 kit, but they have the 79-80 and the gauges look pretty close

Have you checked on availability from other sources?  I get one (very thick) classic Chevy parts catalog every few months, and have smaller catalogs from Brothers, Goldent State and other companies.  Most of them offer the tach conversion option in their catalog.

Thanks!  I still couldn't find one.  I think i'm going to just put a circuit board on this thing and slap an aftermarket tach on top of the dash...
