Hey everybody,
"New Member" here, iam originally from Southern California but live in the now. I joined the forum a few years back when I had my '85 K20 "Big Bird" but I never posted on the forum and then life happened and had to sell Big Bird. But I just bought a '76 C10 that is named "Cookie Monster". Yes it is a theme, I've named every vehicle I've ever owned after a tv show character of some kind. Anyways I'll be starting a build thread for the C10 very shortly. Thanks again for adding me and hopefully everyone enjoys my build.

So I was finally able to upload pictures of my previous square and my new square. I usually don't name my vehicles, I have referred to some with 'titles' like "White whale that can't get out of it's own way".
Come to think of it I did name a MB SL450 "Pooffy Boots".

If you love them, name them!
Heck…even if you hate them, name them!

Well for me it started with a '67 C20 my dad had when I was a kid that I named The Big Green Booger cuz well I was about 3 years old and it was green lol. After that my whole family started naming vehicles and it's just continued on to this day.
Also thanks everybody for the welcome messages!

That is hilarious!
My Dad always named every car “Baby” he still does! I can remember as a child his pleas for mercy when “Baby” was acting up.
I think this general type naming system may have also been used in other situations in his bachelor life style.

that's funny!
My dad had too many cars prior to getting that truck to be able to name them all so he refers to every other vehicle he has owned by the year and nothing else

That is a good system as well. lol
Except if you have two or more the same year, in that case it’s probably year and color!
