« on: May 27, 2021, 09:00:24 PM »
ok, for my first post here of many im sure.
I just found out that my 90 year old mother in law and deceased father in law bought a 1973 Chevy Cheyenne brand new off the show room floor and she STILL drives it!! she kicks butt! well just the other day i found out that she willed it to me!!!!!!!!!!!!! who the heck still drives the truck they bought almost 50 dern years ago and who even knows someone that is the original owner?
I am totally blown away, I just bought a 72 K5 Blazer with an LS swap in it so now i have the whole package.
I feel like the luckiest dude ever. I am so hoping that its the original engine in it, MAN! what a day!!
Dont get me wrong, I hope she lives forever as she is the coolest mother in law a guy could have and ive said that for ever and NOW she is up for sainthood in my eyes.
I dont know if its a half ton or 3/4 or what ever, I just know that Ive been eying that truck for the 20 years my wife an I have been married
