Hello, I have an 84 1/2 ton shortbox with a 6" spring lift that I believe to be rough country springs. In short it rides like a tank but I feel most of the blame can be put on the rear springs. It's funny because a loaded enclosed car trailer will barely squat the the truck but adding just a couple hundred pounds in the bed like a dirtbike or small four wheeler greatly improves the ride! I'm tempted to change out the rear spring with something different but not sure what will give me a good ride and yet still be able to do a little towing here and there. The other thing in my mind is doing just the rear at this point to maintain the lift but maybe achieve it with a spring/block combo two get me the 6" lift for now and give me an option of removing a block to go down to a 4 inch lift down the road when I decide 6" is a little much for me as the truck is my daily driver. Anyone have any good ideas for me? Yes I know I'm asking for cake and wanting to eat it too ::)

So what spring to get for best ride and still be able to use pulling a trailer here and there? I'm thinking of going 4" spring and 2 inch block in the rear for now. I will probably take out the block and keep it a 4" truck on 35's down the road.
