has anyone had por 15 on their truck for more than a year? if so i was wondering how it is holding up. The other thing i would like to know is how the heck do u get it off your hands lol? i was told by the place i bought it to paint the bottom of the cab with it but they couldnt give me an answer as to if i should undercoat over it.

Don't get it on your anything. It won't come off but with time.  It works great and I never undercoat over it since it holds up well but you can.

A box of latex gloves are your friend when using this stuff   And double-layering is a good idea too. I bought a box of those blue gloves you see most mechanics using, and even the Stanley brand. Those things are just as weak as any dollar-store box of thin latex gloves I've used   Anyway, if you do get it on your skin, wipe off with paint thinner right away. Do not let it dry or it will just have to get worn away.

I have had it on my frame for about 7 years, but it hasn't been driven.  It will hod up fine.  You can undercoat it if you like.

thanks for the booster. i was nervous that i wasted 100 bucks on this stuff. my buddys truck started to rust again within 1 year but he only put 1 coat on. i went and put 3 coats on cuz i only wanna do this once. as far as the gloves go the ones i used bleed through and turned my hands black with out me even knowing. so make sure u double wrap your hands. by the time i had realized what happened it was set up and was to late

If he put in on and it started rusting in a year I would question the application.  Was it sprayed or brushed on?  Was it thinned out?

yeah that was the other thing he sprayed it which means he thinned it via application instruction. I brushed it on my truck because it just seemed like it made more sence.

You don't have to thin POR15, I shoot is straight out of the gun.  You also can't use just any thinner either.

There is a special thinner for it. Same as Chassis Saver. Plus you can only thin it up to 10% I have sprayed both of them many times and had great results and good luck with hold out. Also it is designed to go over tightly adhered rust. If he went over any flaky or scale it will keep rusting.
