i need to know the seting for the jets... i guess it it ithe jets, the two screws on the front for the air and fuel

i know alot about motors and stuff...jus not carbs...i know a have a bad @$$ motor..it  is a complete roller motor, from the rockers... to the cam :) ..its sweet..with flat top pistoons, high rise intake...but it is not up to its full potential, i am hopeint hat setting my OLD carb will help...it came of about a 80 models olds mobile ;)
i got plenty of high r.p.m. power ;)  ...but my take if isnt so great :(

The basic starting point is 1 1/2 turns out.Screw both in all the way,then turn each out1 1/2 turns.This is just a basic preset.THE TRICK IS TO GET THE highest idle youcan from the adjustments.Every carb runs different on different motors.So you'll have to play w/ it untill you get it right.Hope this helps.

Since this topic came up, thought I wouls ask something.

Lets say I start at half turn out on the idle mixture screws, where should my idle speed screw be at to start? Shouls I set rpm to 750 with the idle speed screw and then adust the mixture screws or vice versa? I'm a little confused on how those three in tandem get set correctly.

Set the idle at 750rpm and then adjust the mixture.  Once the mixture/timing is set, you might have to re-adjust the idle again.
