Title: Door Hinges
Post by: Thermal Izod on October 13, 2008, 04:20:25 AM
For door droop, enough to lift at the handle and clunk it up and down, and enough to cause a need to slam them everytime, just to close.....do you typically just need the hinge pin?  or both hinge assemblies on each door....?

In all my years I have never seen a hinge having to be replaced cuz of wear although i am sure if left too long you would have too....usually you can just replace the pins and bushings (or oversize bushings) and your good to go

It would have to be REALLY bad for you to replace the whole hinge.

Ever hear of a bottom hinge going bad and not the top one? The drivers bottom hinge was pretty sloppy so since i had the set from the 1st cab i replaced it on this 1 and no more play.

thanks
