The ornament looks like a target finder!!

My 78 is the same mariner blue metallic but with a light blue stripe. It is a long bed too. Bought it for $500. Nice truck by the way

-

-
What did you use? That vinly and fabric rattle can paint?
-
yes it was krylon for plasic and vinyl

yes it was krylon for plasic and vinyl
Wow, that looks really good. I was going to buy new panels and a dash, but that looks great. Did you paint them by taking them off or did you leave them in? Was the paint easy to use? I might pick some up...
-
well it was pretty easy i got the paint from wallmart and took every thing out and painted it
-
sorry to juymp in but for best and long lasting results you might want to check on getting some adhesive promter and definately some grease/wax remover or prepsol/prep wipes for sure, DON't skimp out on the grease/wax remover or prep wipes, you need them or the paint will suck and won't stick. Most of the time it seperates and orange peels aweful or fish eyes.
Adhesive promoter can only help it stick and last longer.

Looks great! Amazing what a little elbow grease and some spray bomb will do.
-
man, i love that blue! i had a 79 K30 that same color except it was silver in the middle...beautiful truck!
