84 6.2L Diesel Sending Unit

I wanted to know if I have to put the 2 outlet that cost an extra $100 or if I can use the other 3 outlet unit.   says the 2 outlet but I wanted to be sure. Thanks.

From where?  The Diesel should be a 2 outlet.  If you block off the 3rd one it should work though.

I bought mine here for about $70 each plus shipping.

The one they show has the third port for removing water from the tanks. You can just block it off. The later models used only 2 ports.
