Hi, Everyone:
I'm trying to replace the front brake rotors on my '87 Suburban V20 with a 5.7L. When I picked up some new rotors from Autozone, I didn't realize you need to press the hub assembly into the new rotors. I don't have access to a press at this time. When I picked these rotors up, there was two applications to choose from:
"With front locking hubs secured with small bolts" and
"With front locking hubs secured with a snap ring"
Mine has the small bolts equipped.
There's also a third choice listed where it comes with the new rotor and hub assembly already joined. However, they only have one of these for the hub secured with snap ring.
I ended up looking at Oreilly's as I need a complete hub and rotor assembly for the bolts type.
Oreilly's doesn't specify which application theirs is for. Here's the part no. for the one I'm looking at: 56287RGS. Can anyone tell me if this will fit, or any other part numbers I can look at etc.?
It says compatible with "V20 Suburban 4WD Silverado with engine V8 - 5.7L 350ci GAS TBI vin K - 2 valve OHV" in the details so it seems like it should?
Thanks!
