are the baja style offroad lights you can get at auto stores really worth it?
they dont look too terrible and my bumper already has holes for them... are these 20$ offroad lights effective?
-
I bought a pair. Theyre actually pretty decent
-
i might have to get me a pair. can you get me a picture of how you mounted them and how did you wire them. like did you run them in with the high beams or do they have a switch
-
I'll probably run them with a switch. I'm guessing i'd only need a relay of some kind...
-
well no i was asking c20 sorry for the mix up
-
I sold the ladder rack and the 4 lights, but I welded mounting tabs onto tbe fron bar of my ladder rack and used the moubting bokts that came with it. I grounded the lights to tge rack and grounded the rack to the frame. Then I ran a 12 gauge wire from the distribution block on the fire wall, through a heavy duty inline fuse, through the fire wall, into a 50 amp toggle switch, out of the switch, out the fire wall, under the truck, up between the bed and cab, up the ladder rack, and to the lights. never blew a fuse and very bright. I didnt need a relay.

Use a relay.
Just remember in that pic, there are at least 8 lights shining at the already white wall so dont think a set of baja lights will give you that much output.
C20, did you have HIDs in that pic?
-
Yes. 12000k purple headlights and 3000k yellow fog lights. Im trying to find a just KC light picture.

just wired them in… pretty good for 20$
