Title: 1973-1978 and 1979-1980 Vinyl skinned Dashes coming soon

I just got word from our Dash vendor that the 1973-1978 and 1979-1980 Vinyl skinned Dashes will be available in the next few weeks.  Currently they will be available in dyeable Black only.
They will be listed at the same price as the current 1981-87 verison.  See the catalog when they are added here:

     I assume that since you mentioned the vinyl 81-87 dash price, it will be the same as the 81-91 vinyl dash at $350.00 and not the $575.00 gm dash pad.
     Very cool, I almost got my new place set up so I can finally start working on my truck again, will be needing one of these.

That is correct.  It will be $350 + shipping.  I got one before leaving on Vacation and took some pictures today.

They should be available in the next couple weeks.  I added them to the catalog for preorders and I have one open order for one now to take pictures.  Will update this thread when I have it.

So I do not have much experience with the dashes in these trucks.  Is there a metal frame work on the back of our dashes?  Does that need to be transferred to these pieces?  Also,  how is the quality compared to stock?  Are they as thick and sturdy as the stock ones?  Thanks Capt.!!!

Factory and this one have a metal frame that everything is bound to.  You only need to use the clips that come with the original dash.
I would use this on my personal vehicle.

Hey Captkaos. I was doing a internet search for dash pads and came across this page here. The top link isn't working. Are these dashes still available?
