Power windows and locks...
« on: March 05, 2013, 09:34:46 AM »
Hello everyone, new to the forum and I just bought a 1981 k10.
So I have to re do the interior in it, and first problems are power windows and locks, the windows go down but not up, and Locks don't do anything. If someone could turn me the right direction to get started on something would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the site from SE South Dakota!

start by checking to see if you have power to the different wires, also look in the technical section and look for a wire diagram to see what the different wires at the have 12+ to them.

im sure others will chim in with there opinions.

Sounds like a bad switch but check your wires.

Have power on both sides, passenger window will go down but not up, even when helping it by hand...
