The mini belt sander is great for grinding spot welds. On the outside, mask around the area to avoid collateral damage. Keep up the good work. It will pay off!

looks nice !

A ton of work doing something like that, especially when it is not something you do everyday.

Been looking for wheels while I have been doing my rebuild and got a set. The person I bought them from media blasted them and painted them for me. Cost was $450.00

Perfect.  8)
I spent most of my money on Jack Daniel's, Copenhagen, pocket knives, and 4X4 trucks.  The rest I just wasted.

Thanks all! Seemed to be difficult to find the rally wheels for a 4x4. There were many more available for the five lugs.

Those are stunning! Congrats!!

How wide are those? Couldn't tell from the pics.

Are the 4X4 labels available?

I refinished mine a few years ago, and did a light search, but didn't find any.

Also, are there labels for 5 lug that you know of?

Thanks!

They are 8" wide and I got them through my brother, from a guy he met at a swap meet in Dallas, TX area. I am in AL. They came with the center caps and rings. The person I got them from had them media blasted and painted for me. Will put them on after I complete my restoration. I have seen the after market 4x4 labels center caps available online from many places (have seen them on eBay), these are supposed to be originals. I have not seen 4x4 labels for a 5 lug wheel. To my knowledge GM did not make the 5 lug 4x4.

Nice, I found two 8" and two 6" for the C10 I'm building.

5 lug. Not 4x4.

The center caps for these are good, but the decals are not.

They have the bow tie logo.

Look up rally "4pcs CHEVY Emblem Badge RALLY WHEEL CENTER HUB CAPS' LOGO STICKERS," on eBay. You can find more than one set of decals for your center caps (bow tie).

Made some progress getting my rear window repaired. After welding it in, I got the weld ground down, smoothed out, all around the window frame, Primed it today with 2K epoxy primer, and tomorrow I will apply a 2nd coat of rust seal for future protection around the inside of the channel to protect from moisture. Then will sand it all and put another coat of 2K Epoxy Primer on it all. After welding work may have been more work than welding it in.
