Good news and bad news... First the bad news. The rust is really bad in the bed, worse than anticipated. We're going to rebuild most of the bed from scratch, reuse just a few parts. The tailgate survived. A flat bed conversion would have been cheaper, but it just doesn't seem right...

Now the good news. I've chosen the blue. A friend turned me onto 2019 Camaro Riverside Blue. That's it!

Thanks Carmen!

The plan is two toned blue / silver. Maybe it's such a nice color, one tone is enough.

Alrighty, need to finish color options for Big Blue.

Two-tone or not?  Pin stripes?
Asking all my friends opinions....
Thanks!

I like the option with 2, 1/2” pin stripe

Second choice would be white on bottom and white on roof.

You can’t go wrong with any of the options you have selected....they all look great!

My wife had suggested the pin stripe, less work, back on the road sooner, less cost. I hadn't even thought of that. I liked the idea of all blue, the guy paints and done versus anything that involves mounting, then unmounting. But we both like the idea of breaking up all that blue on the long bed. If it were short bed, different story.

Mike, awesome work on your truck! Following your thread, inspiring. My bucket list is to do my '52 international myself and not use a painter.

My wife says, walk away, come back, see which one really catches my eye. It comes back to the more traditional 1980s look. I guess I like retro.

Thanks everybody for all your input!

Mark

Just when I say that's it, it's not. Looked more online, and that's too much silver. Found this low rider in the same blue that we liked. Just keep bottom line up to the gas cap and blue can.

That's nice truck, really love the blue.
