« on: November 12, 2021, 11:39:09 AM »
Guy's been a way a while but just picked up a 80 model c10 4x4 and chasing down some wiring problems, first was starter wires got that, tail lights got that now on to dash lights, no power, couple of things thinking i need to check the gray wire in the plug going to dash, and noticed on the light switch plug the green wire has been cut, any insight ? THANKS!

It's difficult to know just how much you don't know until you know it.
In other words... if people learn by making mistakes, by now I should know just about everything!!!

Thanks buddy for the info, this is a super nice old truck but there has been some serious hacking going on behind the dash as well, and i hate that going back threw someone else's mess, I may try to find a used harness or a new one, nothing against the american auto wire just hate to spend that much coin when it's just the dash harness, THANKS!
