Door Switch Wires Fell In
« on: March 27, 2022, 08:47:41 AM »
So I was having a tough time with installing a new door switch in the driver door jamb because I didn't realize they could screw in past the threads. During my endless turning to try and back the switch back out of there, the wires fell down inside the cavity.

How do you get in there? I removed the kick panel trim thinking it would be all open and accessible, but it seems completely enclosed. Am I missing something, or do I need to disconnect everything inside the door and slide the harness back to fish the wires out?

Just pull the wire back through the inside, (white wire with the grommet). Then fish a piece of mechanics wire through and pull it back through.
