20x11 Detroit Steels on all 4 corners 1979 C10
« on: September 27, 2022, 07:32:47 PM »
I have been searching for wheels for my 1979 C10 build for sometime now and have done a ton of research on the forums, but I have not been able to find much information on the attempt that I am trying to make. I really am looking for a good lok and good stance. I want a wheel flush with the fender, slightly able to tuck and I am not looking for a dished look either.

I have a 1979 C10 LWB, coil over suspension in the front with tubular control arms and a flip kit in the rear. I have tossed around the US Mag Ramblers but have made a decision to run the Detroit Steel Delrays instead. In choosing these wheels I have 3 setups that I can run with a range of backspace - 20x9 on all 4, 20x9 front and 20x11 rear, or 20x11 on all 4 and I really want to run the 20x11 on all 4, and I know that the front is going to be the problem area.

Has anyone had any luck in doing so with a similar setup? If so, what backspace? Also, any information on a 10" wide wheel would be appreciated as well.

I have seen one C10 on the 67-72 site that was successful at this and is running 315 tires on all 4 as well. The other 73-87 that is running 11" wide on all 4 is on customwheeloffset.com, however I cant reach out to the owner to see how his clearance is and what his setup is.

Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

The wheel size you are talking about may rub when turning if you go with 20x11 on all four. Personally, I like the stock Rally Wheels.
