Western Chassis - Lowering Leaf Springs
« on: April 15, 2023, 09:20:12 AM »
Found a very old post on these - wanted to check in with you folks that have used them please.

We got the bed removed and it's time to start working on the lowering.

These lowering leaf springs seem like a good option especially since i believe i have a damaged (50 year old) right leaf spring.

Who has used these?
Do you like them?
Do they perform ok?

Thanks

Not very low - probably a 3/4 or so.

Would like to keep a little rake in her.

Thanks

There is guys on here with better Intel then myself, but if you are just dropping that much, you are probably better off just doing a 4"spring hanger and shackle drop in the rear, and a 2.5" in the front. That way you keep the stock suspension.  Which give you a nice stock ride.
