Looks to me from your pics like the Goodmark sheetmetal fits almost as well as the original GM parts did! I'd sure be hard pressed to tell the difference! It's good to know that somebody out there is making some quality restoration sheetmetal for our trucks since the original stuff is getting both scarce and expensive! I can't wait to see the finished product now! You are sure going to have one sweet looking ride very soon!  Keep us posted. ...Joe

I sold CCZ some GoodMark Fenders and they turned out really good also.  Along with 2 other customers and they liked them...

Here's kind of a bad shot, but the only one I can get of the new rocker panel.

Here's the bumpers progress

Here's the bumper all finished.  The color is called Aluminum.  It looks good.  It's kind of in between silver and chrome, like nice looking bare metal.

Looks like they are making some really good progress on your truck. That rocker panel looks like it fits really good with the door and fender from what I can see. I'm glad that I'm not the one that has to straighten the bedside. Being bent right up there on the front edge like that it most likely won't be any fun to work back out, but those guys seem to do first class work so it shouldn't be any problem for them. Keep the pics coming! I am really enjoying seeing the progress that they are making! ...Joe

Hey 78, what Aluminum is that, and I take it that you sprayed it out of a Gun rather than a rattle can???  Looking for one that doesn't chalk up or rub off any any surfaces(Used a similar Aluminum Spray Can before, but it would always rub off onto your hands, clothing and etc, no matter how dry it was supposed to be)....

It's from a spraycan.

Here's a link: http://www.rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=95

I use this paint for everything I do for exterior.  I did my vent windows with it, and the bumper.  It dries smooth and slick and a little bit rubs off after it's dry, but wait till the next day and polish and wax it and it's good to go.  Also there will be a little bit of splochiness right after painting, but the polish and wax made mine disappear completely.
Plus this stuff is tuff.  You can handle it in an hour or two, but after 48 hours, it sets up all the way and is super tough.  I'd say it's somewhere between powder coating and normal paint, as far as toughness goes.

Ya know I've got that same bumper I took off another truck just laying beside the garage I thought about scraping it because nobody wants one aftr seeing you clean that one up I might just try doing that see if I could make a buck off it.

Here's the progress up to today.  Tomorrow I'm going to go help them remove the bed for painting.

Here's another pic of the rocker
