Monday, September 2nd, 2019: While I had the transmission out I decided to replace the leaking rear seal on the truck to hopefully eliminate it. (so far it is working)

New seal installed.

Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019: Twin Brother came over every day after work and we worked on getting it back together from Monday 2nd to Thursday 5th.  In addition to what is not see we added the fin and plate oil cooler in front of the radiator.

Friday, September 6th, 2019: Me and my twin set out to LSFest 2019.  During this trip the truck hit 39000 miles and the trans temps never exceeded 215 degrees.  I know this because I watched it the whole way there.

Saturday, September 7th, 2019: Highlight of the weekend was Friday and Saturday Rick Squires had both of our STS equipped trucks in the Holley booth (who now owns STS Turbo).  Only bad part was we had nowhere to sit or a way to sit in the shade.

Are you going to paint it? The gauges look cool.

Paint is in the plan but I have to finish my K5 first.  I want to have it drivable by next year.  Pending my building a new house and selling the one I have.

Been a while but I just caught up on the R10 Driver series and I'm still impressed. I have recently acquired my own '87 R10 and have similar plans. Along with the R10 I also got an '83 K20 and a few months down the road I acquired an '83 K5 cucv 6.2. Unfortunately none of those are on the todo list anytime in the near future. Couldn't pass them up though because they were all free. My favorite!

Yes they have their problems but I couldn't see them get crushed.
