I have a NOS instrument bezel w/1.5 DIN opening that has a gold tint to metal overlay. I believe this might have been for a 90/91 Suburban/Blazer, not sure. Looking for a matching dash trim piece, are these available? I see the aluminum looking trim pieces in NOS/repro/used quite a bit, but rarely see the gold tint metal. Any help greatly appreciated.

In past the Gold-ish tinted speedometer bezel was found on the mid grade Scottsdale trim and the rest of the dash had a black insert as well as the door panels. I've not seen the 90/91 Scottsdale so my comment is based on my 1985 Scottsdale

I actually have no idea which models came with the the gold tinted bezels so excellent info! On your dash trim piece is there any gold tint around the perimeter of the black portion of the trim panel? If you wouldn't mind taking a closeup pic that would help me out a great deal. Thank you!

The truck is in storage 300 miles from me. I can tell you the brushed aluminum has a goldish tint versus a Silverado bright aluminum. I am pretty sure the rest is like a plastic chrome on the edges around the gauges. I will try to confirm with pictures the next time I am able to

There's a thread about this on one of the other 73-87 boards.
There was at least one comment saying the gold hue trim showed up on OEM replacement interior trim parts after production ended.
Keith Seymore was saying he couldn't remember gold tint brushed aluminum dash trim when he was working on the line.

Thank you, it appears these parts are few and far between, I may be looking for a matching dash piece a long time! Here is a pic of the gauge bezel I have:

I'd focus on 89-91 Blazers to find a match. Most of the Suburbans I've seen were the burlwood, plain or silver in color.
BTW, How do we not have a thread cataloging the different trims?!

I can write something up based on my many books if you want

That would be cool 8)

Thank you for the tip, I will absolutely focus on the Blazer's as you have suggested, lol, I'll probably be looking a while on this one!

I saw on another thread some identification on the back of the bezel; here is what mine says

looks like the color is Honey Burly Brushed Aluminum

No, those are the two different cover panel options. Can you get a closer and better pic of yours? Is there a protective film on it or is it bare already?
-
no film on it, here's a closer pic
