Where did you get the hubs?

Did you buy new GM hubs?

When we rebuilt the front end on my son's '79 D60 we bought new GM hubs at the Chevy parts counter. $350.00 for the pair IIRC.

what size lift do you have and how do you get your tires to stick out of the wheel well like that?  i have 35 in tires too but they kinda tuck into the wheel well.  i also have a 4 in lift and yours seems to sit lower down on the tires.  the stance on your truck is awesome

I ordered the hubs from GM Parts Direct. They are brand new GM.

I've got a Pro Comp 2 1/2" lift on it. The reason the wheels stick out so far is because the rear end is the Dana 70HD dually rearend. It is wider than any of the 14 bolts. When I was running duals I had 2 inch spacers between them. When I went back to singles I put them on the front axle so the width matched the rear axle. I had to "adjust" my front fender opening with the spacers on the front.

so a 2 1/2 in lift is enough to clear 35 in tires?  i looked around these forums and seemed that everyone was saying you had to have at least a 4 in lift to fit 35's.  anyway your truck is cool lookin

1 Ton trucks sit higher than 1/2 ton trucks.
