Title: Size and Type of Threads for A/C Hoses
Post by: ehjorten on June 28, 2021, 02:59:23 PM
So I need to have a couple of custom A/C Hoses made for my '91 LS Conversion to get the A/C all buttoned up and ready to charge. Can someone tell me what the thread designations are on each of these? I don't have my truck next to me to measure, so I'm not sure what sizes everything is. I assume they are some standard thread size of some sort.

I have a comparable sized Sanden Compressor (comparable to the stock sized compressor) mounted to my 2004 LQ4 in a high mount passenger side, that will route to the stock A/C system on my '91 V3500. I have a new, sealed accumulator, a new, sealed condenser, new, sealed evaporator. I also made a new high side line with a R134a port because the stock one didn't fit to the "stock" replacement condenser.
